  • Aliens at a Miami Mall?

By Margie Kay Social media is on fire with reports of giant 8 to 10 feet tall aliens chasing and attacking people at the Bayside Mall in Miami, Florida. The incident occurred on January 1, 2024. A man posted a video right after he left the mall. He described very tall shadowy creatures that moved very quickly and appeared and disappeared, leaving some to speculate whether the creatures were phasing in and out of dimensions. Video footage of over 100 police cars on the street in front of the mall and claims of black helicopters on site and people shooting at the alien creatures sparked an internet frenzy. While the local news programs assured citizens that the airports were not closed down, there were no Blackhawk helicopters, and 60,000 people did not lose power as was reported. And certainly, no aliens. The videos circling the internet may tell a different story, however. One video shows panicked people running from the mall and screaming. Here is a video taken from internets posts that shows something very large walking outside the mall: A man named Fitz posted a TikTok video in which he said he was at the mall at the time this occurred, and he and his family saw the creatures which appeared to be 9 to 10 feet tall, black with eyes and lips, and "glitching," which Fitz thought appeared to be uncloaking. Watch the video: https://www.tiktok.com/@guynanedfitz/video/7321224697058790686?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7278393368433329706 Perhaps there is a more mundane explanation: Has Project Blue Beam been activated? Or was this done as a distraction at the same time the Epstein documents were being released? Un-X News would like to hear from anyone who was a witness to this event. • Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Real Phantom

by Violet Wisdom His opera may not have been actually haunted, but according to The Telegraph,  his Eaton Square home in London was. Webber’s real life, in a sense I suppose, phantom, isn’t the only spook to visit the particularly entertaining region of England. Several theaters are known to be haunted and according to the article, even Sir Patrick Stewart saw one while performing in a play at one of the theaters.  While Webber states he never saw the ghost, it had a strange habit of collecting up his scripts and putting them into a neat pile in a random room. The ghost left after a priest came to Webber’s home and blessed it. From castles to pubs, London is packed with nearly as many ghost stories as humans. London pass ranks the #1 most haunted spot the Liverpool Street Station with common sightings of ghost workers, #2 Bruce Castle, haunted by the Lady of the house who was murdered in the 1600’s and #Clink Prison which was built in 1144. • Oddest Events of 2023

by Violet Wisdom 2023 Round Up, Past, Present and Future! ODDEST EVENTS OF 2023: The May 8 meteorite crash in New Jersey. The four-billion-year-old space rock crashed through a home in Hopewell and although it only weighs 2 ½ pounds, it made it all the way through the room and onto the living room floor.  Still not fully explained might be the biggest longlasting headline of 2023, the Chinese Spy balloons. Left to conspiracy for follow up to American and Canadian citizens due to the subject being dropped like a… well, a lead balloon. UFOs/UAPs WILL REMAIN HEADLINES IN 2024 With 2023 being dubbed The Year of the UFO  by some, that title is set to spillover into 2024. While several investigations, committees, reporting opportunities and laws passed to protect those with UFO information were created in the last year, none have fully released any solid information. 2023 ends with vows to press forward on the complete release of all information both classified and top secret. Adding to this grand quest are candidates who are putting the demand for UFO transparency at the top of their campaigns. 2024 already promises to keep the ball rolling.  LOOKING TOWARD 2024 Through virtual reality? Quite possibly. Move over gamers, everyone will be eyeing your VR goggles soon. Already in early stages of application, the futuristic technology is being tested for use in health care, engineering and real estate. No one is predicting VR vacations, but, gotta say… I’d be tempted. Also on 2024’s big goal list: Quantum Computers-  Ahh, the old double-edged sword here. Imagine knowing exactly what the weather will be on a specific day six months in advance. Quantum computing could solve the biggest mysteries of the universe and at the same time allow any program hacked in a matter of seconds. Just like AI, expect to see governments worldwide create laws to restrain advancing technology. Then again, just like AI, the laws themselves will likely be rendered a waste of time by the very technology they attempt to control.  AI-  Hang on to your hats. This terrifying disaster of an idea will only grow to more applications in 2024. At least we can all agree that so far, given its ability  to moderate social media… AI is thus far a complete failure. And don’t even try to order anything customized through a fast food drive through, pretty sure I saw smoke coming out of the screen last time I tried.  Whatever 2024 brings,  From our house to yours, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! • Holidays Disrupted by Creepy Clowns

By Margie Kay Residents of a small English town are on edge due to two mysterious clowns causing chaos throughout the area. It began Sunday, December 19, 2024 when a woman in Ash, England saw the two teens wearing masks with sharp teeth, which left her daughter petrified. Other locals shared their own scary encounters with the clowns and police are now aware of the situation.  The craze of malicious clowns has become a global phenomenon, with arrests, lockdowns, and bans on costumes. Professional clowns have expressed their concern about the artform's reputation and McDonald's has limited Ronald McDonald's public appearances.  Steven King's 1986 horror novel "It" in which Pennywise, the killer clown, no doubt had an influence in popular culture. When things began to get out of control, King said about the creepy clown trend: "Time to cool down the clown hysteria - most of 'em are good. Cheer up the kiddies, make people laugh."  In 2016 a surge in creepy clown sightings occurred across the U.S. and Atlas Obscura posted a map of 100 sightings around the country: The Definitive Map of America’s Creepy Clown Epidemic - Atlas Obscura . We don't know if this map is updated, but there are a lot of sightings posted there.  In August of 2022 a friend of mine told me she and her husband were scared to death when two creepy clowns appeared on their vacation property at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. She said "We arrived after dark one evening and got out of the car to go into the house. We hadn't been there in weeks, and we were looking forward to having a relaxing weekend. Suddenly, a man wearing very scary clown makeup appeared out of the bushes about 20 feet from the back of the car. He had to have already been on the property before we arrived. I screamed and dropped my groceries and my husband turned to look and saw the guy, too. He freaked out and yelled at the guy, who just stood there menacingly for about 30 seconds. Then a second clown appeared the end of our driveway about 80 feet away. My husband then opened the back hatch on the SUV and got out a tire iron. Then the clowns ran into the bushes and trees and disappeared. We grabbed our stuff and went inside the house. I've never been so scared in my life. We are quite a distance from neighbors, and these guys would have had to walk from wherever they came from because we saw no car on the road."  The witness said that the clown makeup was very scary, and they had large mouths with rows of pointed teeth painted on their faces. She also said that the clowns looked like grown men, not teenagers or kids. The question is, why would someone go to that much trouble in the middle of a sparsely populated area, not knowing if someone was going to be there or not?  The clown archetype has been around for thousands of years, from the Archimimus in Rome, to the Cherokee Booger Dance. Some believe the archetype of the 'killer clown' began with the arrest of John Wayne Gacy in 1978, while others point to Ruggero Leoncavallo's 1892 opera Pagliacci, in which the clown murders his cheating wife on stage. Charles Dickens was asked to edit Grimaldi's memoirs, which highlighted the clown's balance of laughter and misery. The idea that clowns are meant to be harmless is not an old one, as there is an ambiguity to their character which can be both funny and evil.

  • Weird Holiday Traditions Around the World

by Violet Wisdom Radish Sculpting Competition- Oaxaca, Mexico Officially declared a holiday in 1897. December 23rd is Noche de Los Rábanos, Night of the Radishes. Originating as a means to increase market sales, vegetables were carved into sculptures, especially radishes. Today it is an art contest, and apparently ANYTHING can be carved from a radish.  Yule Cat Iceland. Jólakötturinn is a hungry cat looking for anyone who doesn’t get new clothes for Christmas. Back in the days before people motivated their workers with special parking spots, employers would simply scare the crap out of their employees. Wool needed to be fully processed and ready for clothes making by mid-December. If you didn’t have new clothes, it was obviously because you didn’t work hard enough. So, yeah a cat would eat you. Duh.  Krampus- Germanic, primarily celebrated in Austria Krampus night is December 5th  Leave it to the land of creepy fairy tales to bring the world… Krampus. After centuries of Germanic children learning how to behave well with darling night time reads such as the boy who learned his thumbs would be cut off by the town tailor if he kept sucking his them, should Krampus surprise anyone?  Krampus is a wicked looking entity complete with horns who travels alongside Santa Claus to deal with the bad kids. Santa gives the good kids presents and treats in their shoes while Krampus stuffs the bad kids in his sack, beats them and in some stories takes them home for dinner (and I don’t mean as a guest). Geeze, to think I thought the Elf on the Shelf caused anxiety!  Swedish goats made of straw- The legend of the Yule goat goes something like this; Thor utilized goats to pull his chariot all day then Thor would eat them each night. No worries, they came back every morning ready to do it again. People in Sweden decorate with goats made of straw and even have a celebration that includes the Yule Sacrifice, Juleoffer. Someone dresses up as a goat and acts out the story of being killed then coming back to life.  Hide the Brooms Norway - The witches come out for mischief making on Christmas Eve in Norway, so to prevent any brooms from being stolen, Norweigens take time to hide their brooms before going to bed.  You should probably hide the Swifter, just in case.  Decorating with oranges- Medieval Europe I always wondered where this tradition came from. Having very little understanding of how diseases work, oranges with cloves (a pomander which is basically a round piece of fruit with cloves stabbed into it or a round anything with perfumes packed inside like a necklace pendant). Back in the 1600s it was one of many odd attempts to protect people from the plague. In the end, it turned out to be a cool looking holiday decoration so, there you have it. Czechia- Christmas engagements. By throwing one of your shoes over your shoulder while standing just outside your home you can possibly ensure you’ll be getting married soon. The shoe does have to land with the toe pointing to the door or you’ll have to go back to online dating.  La Befana- The Gift Giving Witch Italy On the Eve of the Epiphany (the day that celebrates the Three Kings reaching baby Jesus), A good witch makes her to children's homes to fill their stockings. She even takes a few extra moments to sweep up the floors before heading out to the next home. Originating from the Roman goddess Sabine, La Befana has been around since the 1200s. Just like Santa, La Befana only gives treats to good children and coal or garlic to bad children. The city of Urbania is host to the largest celebration of this good witch which includes people dressed to look like her and give candy to children. Instead of cookies and milk, families leave her wine, broccoli and sausages. Forget the treats, I’ll leave her a whole bottle of wine if she’ll come clean my floors! Mari Lwyd  -  In Wales, carolers go door to door singing with an ornately festive horse skull. Once someone opens a door, they sing and go into a game where the carolers and residents enter a battle of rhyming wits and insults. Once the game is over, the residents invite them in for refreshments. Spider webs for decorations in Ukriane- This one is a lovely story. It begins with a poor widow and her children who wish for a Christmas Tree. Soon after a pinecone falls to the ground and grows into a beautiful Christmas tree. The mother and children cry themselves to sleep on Christmas Eve because they can’t afford to decorate the tree. While sleeping however, the spiders in the house covered the tree with beautiful webs which turned to gold and silver when the sunlight reached them. To this day, Ukrainians decorate their tree with spider web decorations.  The pickle ornament -  The German Weihnactsgurke is considered a German tradition, however Germans themselves don’t know where it originated. The pickle gets hidden deep in the tree for a child to find. When a child finds it they get a special gift. Maybe a marketing scheme that someone came up with to sell pickle ornaments that took on a life of its own? Pooping Log  Catalonia, Spain The Tió De Nadal is a hollowed out log with legs and a face. The log is fed  candy from December 8 until Christmas Eve, all the while kept warm by a blanket. On Christmas morning the log is beaten so that the treats will come out. Sometimes there are even gifts found under the log’s blanket.   Not so weird: Yule: On December 22 nd , the wheel turns to YULE, Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year. The Goddess gives birth to the sun god once again, bringing light back to the Northern Hemisphere.. Winter Solstice is also the day the Celts would bring evergreen fir trees into their homes to remind them the sunlight is increasing a little more each day. This day is more than a Sabbat, it is a celebration to reflect on the previous year and look forward to the new year with new experiences. HAPPY YULE! What is my family's weirdest tradition?   We only have a few a bit off the side of normal. First, we have Thriftmas Eve on Christmas Eve. We all draw names and have to bring a gift that is anything but new. It is challenging and often ends up pretty funny. Our other not so typical tradition is the Yule Log Hunt. I started this game over twenty years ago for a Christmas Eve event for the children in our family and neighborhood. I would write ten rhyming clues (clue #1 takes you to clue #2 and so on) to the Yule log, then one clue for each child that would take them to their gift. Just for the heck of it, I did this again with my adult children and their spouses a few years ago for a Christmas Day game. They seemed to enjoy it more than when they were kids and it has become a yearly tradition.

  • THE ODD PUSH TO SUPPORT UFO SECRECY

by Violet Wisdom Articles out this week  suggest as Americans we should consider keeping the UFO/UAP Pandora box shut tight. Let’s take a look at a few of the reasons being offered: Military security secrets and or technology needed to protect us could be the source of some sightings and if made public would put us in danger. We don’t need congressional approval to find out if aliens are real because if they are, someone will slip up and share that classified tidbit eventually.  IF  top secret defense technology was ever found to be the cause of a sighting during AARO investigations it would be disclosed as such without any security breaching details. As for an inevitable leak, if that was the case it would have happened seventy years ago and continued on since.  There is an obvious limit to how deep declassification will go before the walls go up. Whatever it is that has been kept from us all these years is being protected for some reason that has nothing to do with keeping us safe.   These little suggestions are  a means of inducing doubt. This process is called gaslighting. A subtle, friendly way to get you to start to consider having doubts until eventually you agree.  The big question here is why?  What are we getting too close to?  I know you have ideas… And we want to hear them. • Bio-Surveillance, Bigfoot Movie, Vacation in Jail

Weekly Roundup By Violet Wisdom AI BIO-SURVEILLANCE UNREGULATED After 24 hours of deliberations, the EU (European Union) has no regulations in place for the use of AI in biometric surveillance. For clarification, an AI version of surveillance goes far beyond face recognition. New technology can identify you with DNA, the iris of your eye, your fingerprints, voice and how you walk. While some countries feel the practice should be banned others want to apply it to military and security use. Privacy laws in the United States require AI surveillance to be disclosed before use, although enforcement of this law looks to be a low priority. To what extent it is used beyond facial recognition by police departments and or federal agencies is currently unknown. MYSTERY BIGFOOT MOVIE With only a title, a few actors names and confirmation that a bigfoot is part of the movie, Sasquatch Sunset will remain a mystery for a while longer. The Bleecker Street production directed by David and Nathan Zellner will be their second film to include bigfoot. The movie is set for a screening next month at the Sundance Film Festival. A VACATION IN JAIL I’m not referring to that moment as a mom you begin to see a weekend in jail as a fantastic alternative to your own reality. I’m talking about a REAL jail, a real haunted jail! The Jailer’s Inn , in Bardstown Kentucky has made the top of most haunted places lists with guests and staff reporting the sounds of whispers and walking over the years. Having served as a jail for nearly 200 years, there are plenty of past residents to do some serious haunting. With a beautiful courtyard and gorgeous rooms, I’m sure any visit would be a wonderful vacation. With several of the jail’s cells still on site, I would mind my P’s&Q’s just in case.

  • Cube - Shaped UAP Reported in Tucson

By Margie Kay On July 10 or 11, 2021 at 7 pm, Steve Barlow, a Navy veteran who holds an MS in Aviation Management saw something he can’t explain. He recently shared this experience with me: Steve said, “I live in Tucson Arizona near Davis Monthan AFB. I reported this cube to Phoenix MUFON in 2021. I was watching UFO Witness on Max, Season 2 Episode 6 and was shocked to see how similar Justin Johnson's cube in Springfield, Missouri is to what I saw. I thought you'd like to have this in your archives. My cube was wobbling, and I couldn't see the top. One side was white as it spun and wobbled slowly. Also, it was a very overcast day here at dusk. This is what I reported to MUFON Phoenix: "On July 11, 2021 (possibly July 10) at approximately 7 pm (+-15 minutes), I sat outside on my patio looking south watching clouds form. The clouds were grey, and it was cool out. We have DM air force base nearby and I worked aviation all my life, both military and civil. As I watched, I saw a black square flying directly north. As it flew I saw it rotated slowly and one side appeared to be white, which was not a reflection of light but was visible as it rotated. It covered one side completely in white, but it was on the side only, not underneath. Since I have been in military and civil aviation over 40 years, I could not readily identify it. It made NO sound, and followed a straight south to north trajectory, maintaining height at approximately 2000-3000 feet just west of our house. As it moved it rotated around itself slowly and at differing rates of rotation, almost wobbly but maintained course, speed, and altitude despite a SSE wind of almost 20 mph. This proved to me it was not a balloon. It was not an Amazon drone or any other known drone as nothing was externally mounted on it such as engines, wings, etc. It was just a soundless square going about 200 mph which I estimated as we have military jets fly over all the time and this helped assess size, height of object to best of my knowledge. After the initial sighting I got up from my patio chair and walked into the backyard to get a clearer view as it progressed north. Shortly after it disappeared into a grey cloud of weather. I had my cell phone but was so enamored by the object that when I finally took a picture it was too late. Since the sighting I have had no side effects other than curiosity. FYI: I did google and found that lights were reported over DM air force base at roughly the same time that day with air force denial, but a video (not mine) shows them." I did an investigation of Justin Johnson’s cube sighting in Springfield, Missouri and interviewed him on Un-X News podcast along with another investigator who evaluated the video. Justin’s video is incredible. Watch the show here: https://youtube.com/live/HXWk2m71_vY It's too bad that Steve did not get video, but it is understandable. When looking at something you cannot explain, the brain just wants to observe it, and often people do not think to grab their phone or camera until it is too late.

  • MANDELA EFFECT OR SOMETHING MORE?

By Violet Wisdom Have you ever been shocked by a big news story because you felt you knew it already happened? Had a memory of hearing that news and the causation of it? Ever had a vision or audio vision of something simple like a short part of a conversation or event, even one unremarkable, only to experience it in reality a short time later? If you have you are far from alone, especially of late. Something is obviously up when you hear a famous person has passed away that you know already passed away years before. It could be the Mandela Effect, named after Nelson Mandela’s passing shocked thousands of people who believed he had passed away over thirty years before. While most psychologists would say an incorrect belief stems from the mind making sense out of something incomplete such as possibly seeing a news commentary in the 1980s that there was concern for Mandela’s life while in prison and then not hearing anything about him for several years, the subconscious mind creates a memory that he indeed died in prison in the 1980s. Or, even less subtle, seeing one of the hundreds of spam posts depicting death announcements of famous actors. If one of those actors were to truly pass on, it is possible for the brain to retrieve a memory of the spam post and believe it had already happened. There are a few problems with these theories; 1. Most people, nearly ALL people know the spam posts are spam. 2. The Mandela Effect didn’t affect a handful, or even a few hundred people, it affected thousands. Just as Curious George truly doesn’t have a tail, the line, Mirror, Mirror, on the wall was never said in Snow White, (it was magic mirror on the wall) and of course, the Berenstein Bears is spelled Berenstain Bears. I was 100% using the incorrect spelling for those bears until they became a top example of the Mandela Effect. If you've had an experience like this, please let us know. Send an email to kunxradio@gmail.com. It may be included in a future article. https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/585887/mandela-effect-examples https://www.verywellmind.com/what-is-the-mandela-effect-4589394#:~:text=The%20Mandela%20effect%20refers%20to,he%20actually%20died%20in%202013 ).

  • UFOs, Energy Particle, and a Hodag

Weekly Roundup By Violet Wisdom HILL GETS ROCKY IN UFO INVESTIGATION Legislators in Washington D.C.’s ongoing attempt to access military and previously classified information regarding UFOs/UAPs are getting a bit on the frustrated side. Stating a lack of cooperation , House members serving on the investigation have no intention of backing away from their inquiries noting they have already uncovered valuable information. Additionally, today, December 1, 2023 brings a new director to AARO , the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office within the Pentagon. Tim Phillips will be the new Deputy Director of AARO focusing on staff and federal employees with past sightings and or past UAP program information. UNxPLAINED ENERGY PARTICLE Somewhere in the void near the Milky Way galaxy, an energy particle named Amaterasu with over 240 exa electron volts (over twice level as has been seen in the past) made it all the way into our atmosphere. Discovered in Utah via the Telescope Array observatory has left scientists baffled. Having no known point of origin for these particles and no normal burst of energy to explain how they came about, the particles remain unXplained. Telescope Array surface detectors in Utah. Pic: AP A HODAG FOR CHRISTMAS Instead of getting that kid in your life a block set to make the Eiffel Tower or a Viking Village (both large and small kids are applicable to this little story), get them a Hodag set ! What’s a Hodag? Sorry, I’ll back up. Way back in 1893 a group of guys in Rhinelander, Wisconsin found an odd critter and called it a Hodag. Imagine combining a dinosaur, an elephant and a frog, with claws of course. Though some were skeptical even back in 1893, many believed the creature to be real, giving it a legendary status as a creature that came to being from animals tortured by their owners. A subsequent claim to have found a Hodag in the area actually did turn out to be a hoax. Nevertheless, the cryptid is a claim to fame to this very day in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Hodag is everywhere in statues, stores and lodging. Now, you can even make your own Hodag. The company, Northwoods Bricks also makes sets to make a Mothman.

  • Missouri Hotel Surprisingly Haunted

By Margie Kay X-Con 2023 was held at the Oasis Hotel in Springfield, Missouri. Little did we know that the site is very haunted, since it doesn't appear on any haunted sites. I have attended multiple events at this site in the past 15 years and never had anything paranormal happen - that is until X-Con! Many people attending said that they saw shadows walking across the stage, floating on the ceiling, and in the main conference area. One person saw a ghost of a kitchen worker and asked a hotel staff member if they could see it on the state, and he said, "You see him too?" Apparently, some ghosts from the neighboring "Campus Hotel" visit often. According to the banquet staff, a little girl and a busboy are often seen at both hotels, which are owned by the same company. I wrote an article about these events in the November issue of Un-X Magazine, but since then have found more information. Staff told me that the main areas that are haunted are the conference center and the kitchen behind it. However, some people said that spirits were visiting them in their hotel rooms as well! A few sprays of Michelle Reuss' special negativity remover, and one ghost left a conference-goer's room. All of this has inspired us to concentrate on paranormal investigations for our 2024 conference October 11-13. Friday will include presentations and workshops including how to use paranormal equipment and how to use dowsing rods and pendulums, as well as a paranormal investigation that evening at the hotel with professionals heading teams. Michelle Reuss of Riverside Paranormal, and Dan Terry, host of Most Haunted, will be conducting two of the investigations. We believe that this will be the first time professional paranormal teams have investigated the site. Stay tuned for more information coming soon! Registration for X-Con 2024 will be open in January.
