CONNECTIVITY GUIDE FOR GUESTS on KUNX db
www.unxnetwork.com
Thank you for agreeing to be a guest on our show.
There are a few things that you can do to assure the best
audio quality during the program:
1. The website for KUNX is: http://www.unxnetwork.com. Please share this site with your followers so they can listen to the show and join in the live chat. If you have the chat window open during the program you will see people’s comments and questions.
2. Our show is an audio only webcast and we will be talking with you over Skype or Streamyard. For the best sound quality, please be sitting in a quiet place and have either an external microphone that plugs into your computer or have a headset with a built-in microphone. If you don’t have Skype, we can also call you on your phone. In most cases, we will connect 5 minutes before the show starts.
3. Please make sure we have your Skype name so our producer can send you a Skype connect request. We cannot call you via Skype unless you approve this contact request before the show, so please watch for it and approve this request as soon as you get it. The contact request for our show will be coming from Race Hobbs, Skype ID of: globalradioalliance
4. Turn your Skype on about an hour before the show and test your settings. You can do this by clicking on “Settings” and from there click on “Audio and Video”. You can test your set-up by clicking on “Make a Free Test Call” seen near the bottom of the “Audio and Video” pop-up window.
5. During the show, please remember that unless you mute your microphone, anything that you do, any noise that you make while other people are talking, will be heard on air. Shuffling papers, opening drawers, even typing on your keyboard will be picked up on your microphone.
6. Don’t be afraid to talk. Our show is a Q&A Program and more conversational. Relax and tell us your stories. If you have any particular subjects you want us to ask you: book(s) you want to plug, websites where our listeners can find out more about your upcoming appearances, etc., let us know before the show starts and we will be more than happy to make sure we talk about these during the program.
