The OZ Institute announces the formation of a new association designed to support professional paranormal investigators around the world.
The OZ Professional Paranormal Investigator's Association is a collaborative network of professional paranormal investigation teams and individuals dedicated to establishing industry standards and ensuring public confidence in qualified investigators. Membership requires formal approval before being finalized.

Members receive several benefits, including discounted access to certification programs and workshops, rights to use the official logo, a monthly newsletter subscription, and digital access to the bi-monthly Un-X Magazine. According to Director Margie Kay, "We're developing an extensive certification program in the coming months, offering specializations in Paranormal Investigations, Cryptid Investigations, and Psychic Investigators, with additional certifications planned for later phases." Kay notes that the PPIA addresses a significant lack of training existing within the field.
The organization officially launches on Friday, February 13, 2026. Early registrants joining before this date receive a complimentary three-month trial membership. Post-February 13 pricing is set at $199 for teams of up to five members; the additional team member fee is $49 each, and $49 for individual memberships per year.
Investigation teams and individual members also receive a complimentary listing placement on the OZ website.
Non-investigators may join as an affiliate for $29.00 per year in order to receive the newsletter.
