Phytoplankton produced gasses have been found in the atmosphere of a planet over a hundred light years from Earth. Discovered by the James Web Telescope, this is the second time these gasses have been detected in association with the planet known as K2-18B.

One of the most interesting discoveries that came from this mission was what is believed to be a diamond layer over nine miles thick.
