Viral Photo and Video Show UFOs Over the Captial This Week

Multiple unidentified objects were captured hovering above Capitol Hill this week - causing concerns that aliens could be plotting a takeover. The viral photograph exhibits four bright lights eerily positioned just a few feet above the Statue of Freedom atop the Capitol dome and was taken by Dennis Diggins, a former US Air Force pilot and licensed tour guide. The lights changed position from a square to a straight line.

Another video taken from a farther distance appeared to confirm the occurrence - with a view of six twinkling lights moving independently at various altitudes. The images quickly triggered panic on social media - which was further amplified due to the fact that it occurred just weeks after a Congressional hearing discussing alleged covert government programs involving "extraterrestrial" spacecraft. "It's already happening," wrote one user. "This is unbelievable!" wrote another.

One debunker claimed that the lights are lens flares, however, people saw them with the naked eye and lens flares follow camera movement, which these did not. Un-X is having the videos analyzed by experts. The sighting emerged after the US Senate and House of Representatives held a hearing with witnesses discussing alleged secret retrieval programs, communication with non-human intelligence, and government intimidation of whistleblowers. This hearing took place after the Pentagon released a report in March stating that they had found no evidence of extraterrestrial spacecraft.
