David Marler ~ The Field of UAP/UFO Research - Past, Present, Future
A discussion covering where we have been as a field of study versus where we are today. A critical view of the current UAP/UFO field as it applies to the researchers, the audiences, social media, and the public at-large. Areas to address will be: the lack of guardrails in this field; lack of accountability; lack of provenance cited in materials presented; emphasis on belief over knowledge; so-called "disclosure", etc. Also, a discussion of the work being done at The National UFO Historical Records Center to preserve the documented history of the subject to aid real research efforts in this field.Â

Micah Hanks ~ Aerial Phenomena: Evaluating the Enigma
Â
Talk Description: Aerial Phenomena: Evaluating the Enigma examines the developing story of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) not as folklore or speculation, but as a national security issue, and an emerging observational dataset. Examining the broad history of 20th and 21st century developments involving unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), Hanks offers perspectives on what research efforts have yielded in decades past, and how recent events have shaped the UAP narrative. Finally, drawing on case reports collected through the UAP Sightings Reporting System (UAPSRS), the talk explores what patterns begin to appear amid hundreds of independent civilian, military, and law enforcement observations of unusual aerial phenomena.
Â
Bio:Â
Micah Hanks is a writer, researcher, podcaster, and longtime advocate for scientific research into unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP). He is Editor and Co-founder of The Debrief, a science, technology, and defense news site, and host of The Micah Hanks Program, a weekly podcast that covers scientific mysteries. Since 2024, Hanks has also worked as Director of the UAP Sightings Reporting System, a growing database of UAP sightings collected from civilian, military, and law enforcement observers from countries around the world.
Â
John Burroughs ~Â Hidden SecretsÂ
For the first time in modern history, the United States government formally acknowledges Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena — UAP — as a legitimate subject of national security review. That is historic.
Not because it confirms aliens. But because it confirms uncertainty. And the real question we face in 2026 is not whether UAP reports exist.
The real question is: Are secrets still being hidden? And if so, why?
Bio:Â
John Burroughs is a retired U.S. Air Force Security Police veteran and a native of Illinois. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1979 and served more than twenty-six years in military and federal law enforcement roles.
In June 1979, Burroughs was assigned to RAF Bentwaters in Suffolk, England, where he served as a base security policeman during the height of the Cold War. His duties included flight line security, weapons storage area protection, law enforcement patrol, and specialized K-9 operations. He received formal training and certification as a military working dog handler in both narcotics detection and explosive detection, supporting base security, anti-sabotage operations, and force protection missions.
On the night of December 25–26, 1980, Burroughs accompanied then–Staff Sergeant Jim Penniston in response to reports of unusual lights in Rendlesham Forest, adjacent to the base. What began as a routine security investigation of a possible aircraft crash or base intrusion evolved into one of the most widely documented and debated UAP incidents in modern history—an event that would profoundly shape the course of his life.
