If the idea of having tea in Wonderland or breakfast in an enchanted cottage is up your alley, these three short-term rentals should be on your radar.
The Fairy Tale Cottage in Chickamauga, Georgia is an adorable A-Frame where giraffe stone and log cabin meet. Each room is decorated in a Bohemian gypsy flair with the aesthetic of Snow White’s forest home. Even the staircase has each riser painted as the spine of the most favored fairytale books. The house is also filled with genre-themed items. Note: The owners only allow children six and older to stay. And they have six other fairy tale houses available! Kristi Burbrig and her husband, Byron, took their love for the world’s favorite stories, fables, and fairytales—Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Howl’s Moving Castle, and more—and poured it into seven (and counting!) immersive vacation rental experiences. With ceilings fit for a half-giant to hidden bedrooms for young-at-heart wizards, Kristi and Byron infuse enchanting details into their vacation rentals so that you exit the ordinary and enter the extraordinary for however long you stay. The Alice in Wonderland House in Ozark, Missouri, isn’t beneath a rabbit hole, but there is a round slide that will take the kiddos down two stories to a themed game and playroom. You can sleep in either the Cheshire Cat Room or the Queen of Hearts Room, complete with a checkered rug beneath a stately king-sized bed. The home even comes with a themed movie theater room. The house has three bedrooms and a basement with an enormous playroom featuring a two-story slide and a comfortable theater. Relax in the hot tub or on the beautiful deck. Even the adults who are kids at heart will enjoy this unique space. There are toys, games and a game table for everyone of all ages.

The Tiny Tower The Enchanted Tiny Tower in Tyringham, Massachusetts, is the kind of place where fairy tales are born. The tower appears as a human-sized gnome house built into the trunk of an ancient tree. This whimsical little place has the flair of the medieval era with the ease of French cottage-style elements. The 350 sq. ft. darling is set on four acres that include a pond, brook, woods, gardens, and sitting areas.
So, wherever it is that you choose to go this summer, may it be magical!
