Contests at the X!

Send us your paranormal short story, real or imagined, by August 1, 2025. The winner will have their story published in Un-X Magazine, and will receive a box of Prizes including a hard copy of Un-X with their story in it, stickers, a paranormal journal, two tickets to X-Con 2025, and two books: Gateway to the Dead by Margie Kay, and How to Research a Haunted House by Margie Kay and Violet Wisdom! Shipping is included in the U.S. only.

Must be 18 years of age or older. 

Un-X Network Staff are not eligible. 

Word count: 1,000 - 1,500 words

Send as a Word doc only

12 pt Garamond type

Photos appreciated but not necessary

Up to three submissions per person​

Add the words "Fiction" or "Non-Fiction" at the top of your story. 

Add your name, address, phone, and email at the bottom of your story along with a short bio.

By entering, you agree that the Un-X Network may use your story in any manner and in perpetuity. If enough stories are entered, they may be included in a book by Un-X with full credit to the author.
