Missourians Treated to a Strange Swirl in the Sky

Missourian's were treated to a weird sight on February 1, and several report this to MUFON. Many witnessed a blue swirling pattern in the skies, and one man described it as a "galaxy."

From MSM:

"KRCG 13 Meteorologist Zach Paul explains what people saw. "It was the spiral vapor trail from the orbital burn for COSMO-SkyMed Second Generation (CSG 2) satellite," says Paul. "It made for a very cool spiral vapor trail/cloud that was illuminated by the sun high up in the atmosphere."

The SpaceX flight took off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Monday. The Falcon 9 rocket launched the CSG 2 radar surveillance satellite for the Italian space agency, ASI
